A degree in business computing brings together an array of IT and business skills to allow students to build an interlink between IT and the world of business. Graduates are able, using this knowledge, to understand the business environment in which information systems function, to identify user needs, and to create and implement IT solutions for businesses.
You’ll be able, with your IT expertise to keep businesses running and develop products and service that are competitive. You’ll be taught how to work with various IT tools such as programming, web development, and databases. You’ll also learn the broader IT skills employers value – from teamwork to problem-solving.
The course is closely connected to the industry. All through the year guest lecturers from engineering partners and IT partners share their insights and work together on real-world assignments. You can also choose an area of study depending on your career goals and preferences.
